Terms of Service

Effective date: September 6, 2026  ·  Last updated: September 6, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CredAware ("Service"), operated by CredAware ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

CredAware is a SaaS platform that monitors Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) application credential expiration dates. The Service reads credential metadata—expiration dates, names, and types—via Microsoft Graph read-only APIs. It never reads, stores, or transmits secret values, private keys, tokens, or any credential that would grant access to protected resources.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

The Service is offered on free (Starter) and paid (Pro, Business) subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Downgrading your plan does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

Plan limits (number of monitored tenants, report retention days) are enforced automatically. Exceeding a limit requires upgrading your plan.

5. Microsoft Integration

Connecting a Microsoft Entra tenant requires you to grant CredAware read-only API permissions via Microsoft's OAuth 2.0 consent flow. You represent that you are authorized to grant these permissions for the tenant(s) you connect. CredAware's access is limited to reading credential metadata—we will never create, modify, or delete any Microsoft Entra resource.

6. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to those practices.

7. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, or third-party service disruptions may cause temporary unavailability. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, content, and branding comprising the Service are owned by CredAware or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD. IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
